ATM SAFETY TIPS:

Pay close attention to the ATM and your surroundings. Don't
select an ATM at the corner of a building. corners create a blind spot. Use an
ATM located near the center of a building. choose a well-lighted location free
of shrubbery and decorative dividers. |

Be aware of your surroundings throughout the transaction. Be
wary of people offering help or of anyone sitting in a parked car near you.
When leaving an ATM, make sure you are not being followed. If you are, drive
immediately to a police station or crowded area. If you have a cell phone,
dial 911 and tell them you are being followed and what your location is. |

Do not use an ATM that appears unusual in any way or has
options you are not familiar with |

Do not let people look over your shoulder when entering your
PIN. Do NOT re-enter your PIN if the ATM keeps it. Contact your bank
immediately. |

Never count your cash at the ATM. Wait until you can get to a
secure place. |

When using a drive-up ATM, keep your engine running and your
doors locked. Leave enough room between you and the car in front of you so you
can move around them to get away if need be. |

Keep a supply of ATM needs (envelopes, deposit slips etc.) at
home and prepare your transactions prior to your arrival at the ATM. |

If an assailant demands your money, give it to him. |
